Here's a right couple of clowns! Clown Eckie is pictured here with one of his favorite charity volunteers at a massive refugee camp in Northern Thailand. They were together with 12 more volunteers when Eckie and some entertainers from Germany and Thailand entertained hundreds of poor people in the far north of Thailand recently.  People from all over the world helped Clown Eckie's favorite charity over the festive season! Clown Eckie says - "THANK YOU ALL WHO GAVE!" Clown Eckie received a great gift of money from the Dusit Thani Hotel in Bangkok this week. The hotel organized a sale of greetings cards during the recent festive season and people from all over the world gave generously to Eckie's favorite charity, 'Gift of Happiness Foundation'. Eckie was also very pleased to see that even the wonderful staff in the food & Beverage office gave some of their hard earned cash to the same cause. (A Special Thanks to You!) After four weeks of being flooded out of house and home - I (Clown Eckie) have finally found a little time to post these pictures taken on a visit to my home in Pathom Thani, north of Bangkok. I am still living in a cheap hotel in Bangkok after giving-up my room at the Dusit Thani a couple of weeks ago, so that some more of their flooded-out staff can use that room. I have lost loads of party and school show bookings and a lot of household equipment & bits & bobs...But I am still a lot better-of than thousands of poor people in Thailand who've lost everything! We should all spare a thought for those who've suffered and will continue to suffer the effects of this catastrophic disaster in the land of smiles. I have been doing as much as possible to help via my charitable foundation and I have plannes to keep helping as much as I can while I also try to recover from this mess. Remember I am available for your Christmas & birthday parties and I am still performing at the Dusit Thani Hotel every Sunday Brunch. An up-date from Eddie Haworth (AKA Clown Eckie & Founder of Gift of Happiness Foundation) This about me-me-me because I'm feeling a bit lost right now and wish to share my situation with all who read this up-date... I was hurriedly evacuated from my home in Pathom Thani, 42 kilometers north of Bangkok last Friday and left with only a laptop that was broken during the packing and a very few clothes.  Clown Eckie's TukTuk at the French Embassy in Bangkok Clown Eckie had an absolutely 'FAN-DABBI-DOZI' day today - performing with the newly painted TukTuk as a back-drop in Bangkok - First at the Dusit Thani Hotel -- Then another great late afternoon show at the French Embassy with the Ambassador & his very kind wife, who showed some interest in our charity work at the Gift of Happiness Foundation -- Thanks to the Dusit & Véronique who organised the activities at the Embassy! Eckie arrives on stage dressed as a teacher and starts to talk about the history of Clowns & Circus. As he is speaking, he reveals a full clown costume which is hidden beneath the teachers’ attire...
