R.I.P. Sir Ken Dodd.
"This Giant of a Clown" will be greatly missed by so many of those who enjoy simple, unadulterated verbal, slapstick comedy presented without a single foul-mouthed word uttered for several hours at a time almost every night of the year.
I (Clown Eckie) am proud to say that I learned so much from him when I was treading the boards back in the 90's.
He's remained a great influence ever since I last worked with him during his "Doddy Variety Shows" when he made a point of introducing new acts to large audiences.
